- Proposal #90
- Proposed by Kwyjibo
- Rejected by a vote of 5-2.
I propose a modification to proposal 53 to
All money/cards currently held by eliminated/reset players is evenly distributed amongst the surviving players in the game.
Note- if a player is reset the distribution happens before that player is back in the game on square 1 so that the player who was reset does not get some of their original possetions back.
- Comments: Read carefully: all money CURRENTLY held by eliminated/reset players. There is nobody CURRENTLY eliminated/reset with money, so this proposal would have been a nop anyway.
- Proposal #91
- Proposed by Silver Car
- Rejected by a vote of 7-0.
A player using a car may only drive once per week (instead of once per update)

- Proposal #92
- Proposed by ChocolateChip
- Accepted by a vote of 4-3. Added a new rule XXXIII to the rules, and modified section 4 of rule XXII.
New building for Commercial and Government blocks: A "Casino", costs $500 to build on a Commercial square, and may be placed on Government squares as per the current Government building rules.
Having a Casino on a square results in a weekly income of $50 for the owner of the square. Also, any player occupying a square containing a Casino may play any of the fun and exciting games there:
Blackjack (Basically identical to the card game Blackjack without double or split options, but explained here just in case anyone needs to know): The player starts by placing a bet of up to $500. The "dealer" will be dealt two cards, only one of which will be known to the player. The player will be dealt two cards. Face cards count 10, aces are 1 or 11 and all other cards count as their value. The player may keep drawing cards as long as he wishes, but if the player goes over 21, he loses his bet. If the player stops drawing and does not go over 21, then the dealer continues drawing cards until his total is 17 or more. If the dealer goes over 21 in the process or if the player's total is more than the dealer's, the player wins back twice his bet. If the dealer's total is higher than the player's, the player loses his bet. If there is a tie, the player wins his bet back and breaks even.
Poker (equivalent to video poker found in most casinos): The player places a bet of up to $25 and gets dealt five cards. He must then chose which of his cards to keep and which to discard. (No restrictions, the player may chose to keep any or all of his cards). Each card the player discarded will be replaced with a new card. The player then receives a multiple of his bet back depending on what poker hand he has:
- Pair (two cards of same rank): 1 times bet
- Two pairs: 2 times bet
- Three of a kind (three cards of same rank): 3 times bet
- Straight (five cards in numerical order, aces can be low or high): 4 times bet
- Flush (five cards are same suit): 5 times bet
- Full House (three of a kind and a pair): 8 times bet
- Four of a kind (four cards of same rank): 25 times bet
- Straight flush (five cards of same suit in numerical order, aces can be low or high): 50 times bet
- Royal flush (ace, king, queen, jack, and 10 all of same suit): 400 times bet
If the player does not have any winning hand, then he wins nothing.
Roulette: The player places a bet of up to $50 and selects a category to bet on (explained below). The admin then spins a "roulette wheel" which contains integers from 0 to 36 inclusive, with all even numbers greater than 0 colored black, all odd numbers greater than 0 colored red, and 0 colored green. The wheel will stop on one of the numbers, randomly selected with equal probability of each. The player will then win back a multiple of his bet if the category he selected was spun.
Categories:
- Select a number on the wheel, if the number is spun, receive 36 times your bet.
- Select a color on the wheel, if the color is spun, receive 2 times your bet.
- Select any 5 numbers on the wheel, if any of the numbers are spun, receive 7 times your bet.
For a Casino on a Commercial square, 50% of the net profit at the Casino comes to or from the owner of the square containing the Casino, with the remaining 50% coming to or from the Admin Bank Account. (Example: a player has a net loss of $150 at the casino. $75 of this money goes to the owner of the casino, $75 goes to the admin bank account). For a Casino on a Government square, all money is paid to or from the Admin Bank Account.
Also while at a Casino, a player may purchase the following items:
- Flower: Cost = $10. May be given to another player as an act of friendship.
- Weighted Die: Cost = $100. A player may use a weighted die by notifying the Admin and specifying a number. The number must be a vaild die roll that can be rolled by the player using his current method of transportation (ie. if the player is using a Car, he must select a number between 1 and 10). When the player takes his next turn, one of the dice rolled will be the number selected. A player may only use one Weighted Die for a turn.
- Salad: Cost = $200. A player may use a salad by eating it, causing the player to gain 5 health. A player may not eat more than one salad per update.
- Auto-Shuffler: Cost = $250. When a player uses an Auto-Shuffler he must select any or all cards he currently owns. The player loses those cards, and then draws as many new cards as he just lost.
- Grease: Cost = $500. A player may use grease by placing it on any square he owns. Whenever a player lands on a greased square, he loses 3 health and slides to the next square, and is considered to have landed there, not on the original square. If this square is greased as well, the player loses 3 more health and slides again. There is no limit to how many times a player may slide in this fashion, but a player may never lose more than 12 health in one move due to grease.
- Joker: Cost = $1250. Same as the joker card that players can receive from the Skunk (defined in rule XIX-3).
As with gaming profits, if the Casino is on a Commercial square, 50% of the cost of all items purchased go to the owner of the square.
Notes:
- When a player "places a bet", he pays the amount of the bet.
- "Drawing a card" means a randomly selected card from a standard deck is drawn. Only one deck is used for each game, so the same card may never appear more than once during a single round of a game.
- "Cards" here are a seperate entity, and have nothing to do with the cards that can be owned by players. A player does not gain or lose any cards after playing in a Casino.
