- Proposal #85
- Proposed by THE CHEESE
- Accepted by a vote of 4-2. Modified section 10 of rule VI.
Change the definitions of north, south, east and west to be "the next square in that direction if one exists, skipping over destroyed squares". So players can drive and use railraods over gaps without getting stuck somewhere.
- Comments: Time to collect the last of the unowned squares.
- Proposal #86
- Proposed by ChinDoGu
- Accepted by a vote of 6-0. Added a new section XXXII to the rules.
Any player may attempt to block an exploit. The player explains on the message boards in a post with the title EXPLOIT BLOCK : <name> (where name is the name of the exploit) how the exploit works. During the next update, there will be an additional proposal (which counts as being made by the admin) as to wether the exploit is blocked. If the proposal passes, then any player who used the exploit detailed AFTER it was described on the message boards will have all effects of their actions reversed.
- Comments: OK Kwyjibo, time to start posting all of these exploits you CLAIM to know about.
- Proposal #87
- Proposed by Silver Car
- Accepted by a vote of 5-1.
Put an ATM on the House of Cards square. (Might as well let everyone do all their business transactions in one place)
- Comments: Maybe we'll actually get more players using their bank accounts now.
- Proposal #88
- Proposed by Kwyjibo
- Rejected by a vote of 5-1.
I propose that 10 squares be added to the end of the board, ignoring rule VI-18 that says they must be put in place of destroyed squares.
- Comments: The board will grow on its own. Very slowly, though.
- Proposal #89
- Proposed by ChocolateChip
- Rejected by a vote of 3-3.
Put Square #27 back on the board, and name it "The Pi Store". As with all of our special squares, this square will contain a railroad and may not be owned.
Any player landing on or passing The Pi Store square may purchase some of the delicious pies available here. A player who owns a pi may throw it at another player who is within 5 squares of him (counting forward or backward in order on the board, and yes, you can throw pies at yourself). A single player may not throw a pi at the same player more than once during an update. Throwing a pi at a player has an effect on the target player that depends on what flavour the pi was.
The following flavours of pi are available:
Raspberry Pi: Cost = $150. The target player loses 3 health.
Pumpkin Pi: Cost = $200. The target player has his method of transportation switched to Clogs.
Lemon Pi: Cost = $200 and a Medicine. The target player has his health immediately set to the average of the health of all other players (rounded to the nearest integer).
Blueberry Pi: Cost = $250 and any three cards. Causes the target player to move backwards instead of forwards on his next turn.
Blackberry Pi: Cost = $400 and a bingo card that has a line marked off (either horizontal, vertical, or diagonal). Causes the target player to become "sick". A sick player has all of his normal moves divided by 2, rounded down. (example: a sick player rolls 3-6, he will only move 9/2 = 4). If at any time a sick player is instructed to make a move of exactly 1 (after dividing by 2), he will not move, but will instead puke on his current square, causing the owner of the square to lose ownership of it, and the square becomes contaminated for 3 weeks. After a player pukes, he is no longer sick.
Apple Pi: Cost = $1000. If the target player is sick, he will become not sick. If the target player is not sick, has no effect.
Rhubarb Pi: Cost = $250 and two warp bubbles. Causes a randomly selected 50% of the target player's cards (rounded down) to be buried under his current square.
Cherry Pi: Cost = $1000 and a Mask. All creatures on the board (in random order) have a 50% chance of jumping to the target player's current square.
- Comments: mmm... pi...
