Black Bean, Beer, and Beef Chili
- 3 c black beans, dried
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 red onion
- 4 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 lb stew beef
- 1 tbs cumin
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili powder
- pepper
- salt
- 3/4 bottle of beer
- 2-3 peppers, hot or bell
- 1 tbs brown sugar, heaping
- 1 6oz can tomato paste
- 2 28oz cans diced tomatoes, drained
Rehydrate black beans. Saute onions and garlic in pan. Add beef, spices and cook until beef browns. Combine beans, pan contents and all remaining ingredients in pot. Cook until done.
