I agree with Tom. I don't want, however, to quit. I want Jeff to take
back his illegal, uncool actions. Nomic is not intended to be a solitaire.
I noticed the loophole that allowed the minister to do whatever he wanted
by judging it so immediately, but thought it was oversight as opposed to
abuse. To suspend the rules and abuse your powers as minister was bad
enough; Tom declared his intent at the beginning to fix this hole. What
was worse, however, was your blatant disregard of the rules and of the
other players. Note that Tom's actions, whether "legal" or not, were
intended only to point out the hole in the rules. My actions were only to
heighten that and add wha i felt was a sense of fun to the game. You,
Jeff, did not merely fix the hole during your illegal reign as emperor.
You also passed two proposals, 1001 and 1003, that would have required
unanimous votes. What if a player disagrees with those? What if i want an
abstention to count as a no vote? This is a much worse abuse of the rules.
Whatever the case may be, as i said before, i do not want to quit.
However, i will, unless Jeff takes back his illegal action and tries to act
less like the dictator that the rules allow him to be.
