As The Founder said, we're all entitled to our own opinion. And, this being a Nomic, nobody will get their way 100% of the time. It's just the nature of the game.

I think it's important that nobody get offended because their proposal is rejected or someone disagrees with their point of view. Making proposals is definitely an important part of the game, but equally important is the ability to adapt to a changing ruleset which you likely won't have a whole lot of control over.

With all the work that goes into making a proposal, maybe this is a reason to make proposals not be excessively long? (A 10 line proposal that is rejected won't feel like as big of a waste of effort as a 3 page one that is rejected)
