I was thinking about this a bit more this morning, and I think I'd actually propose the move times a little further apart, so that players who don't log in quite as frequently can still use them (although it appears that the remaining "active" players are logging in once a day or so).
So rather than having Rat and Cat move every day, make Rat move on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Cat move Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. And since they don't move on the same day, make them both move at noon Central now.
