are all lapsed by Rule 61; the Bottle Imp remains inert for now. I'm
happy to repropose any that we think we need once the range of Dark
Gifts is decided.

I declare this proposal dead pursuant to Jota's nay vote.

Nay. (For admittedly personal strategic reasons. But I could be
convinced if there's an argument for it other than "Iraq currently is
being bombed back to the Stone Age".) And considering the latter
phrase, a proposal for one new rule and one change to the details of
the map:

  Confusion to All Cartographers [Psmith]

  The name of a room for general purposes and the name of a room for
  connectivity purposes are two separate things; unless otherwise
  stated, the two will be identical. Rules which refer to changes in
  names that affect connectivity will only consider the latter name.

  Iraq's name for connectivity purposes shall be "Mesopotamia".
